Terms of Service

LocalJobsGh (localjobsgh.com) is operated by Bestian Company Ltd, Takoradi, Ghana. By using LocalJobsGh, or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

LocalJobsGh is an online platform where:

• employers post jobs and job seekers apply for them;
• customers find and contact skilled artisans;
• people discover local businesses that are hiring.

We are a platform only. We are not the employer of anyone who finds work through LocalJobsGh, and we are not a party to any agreement between employers and job seekers, or between customers and artisans.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• You must be at least 18 to register as an employer or artisan, and at least 16 to use LocalJobsGh as a job seeker.
• One person may hold one account. You can add more than one role (job seeker, employer, artisan) to it.
• Tell us straight away at support@localjobsgh.com if you think someone else has used your account.

If you post jobs on LocalJobsGh you agree to:

• post only real jobs that exist and that you are authorised to fill;
• never charge applicants any fee to apply, to be interviewed, for training, uniforms, registration or anything else connected with getting the job;
• describe the pay, location, hours and duties honestly;
• use applicants' details only to consider them for the job they applied to, and keep them secure;
• follow Ghana's employment laws, including the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651), and not discriminate unlawfully.

Fake jobs or jobs that ask applicants for money will be removed and the account may be banned.

If you offer services as an artisan you agree to:

• give accurate information about your identity, trade, experience, location and prices;
• provide a valid Ghana Card for verification. Profiles are not published until they are verified;
• use only photos of your own work;
• agree prices and the scope of work clearly with customers before starting, and do the work you agreed to;
• not post or arrange fake reviews.

You must not use LocalJobsGh to:

• post fake, misleading or scam listings, or ask anyone for money in return for a job;
• impersonate another person or business, or use someone else's Ghana Card;
• harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
• post content that is illegal, sexual, hateful or violent;
• collect other users' personal data, or send spam;
• copy or scrape listings, or interfere with how the site works;
• recruit for anything illegal, including human trafficking or forced labour.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.

LocalJobsGh is free during our launch period. Posting jobs, applying for jobs and creating an artisan profile cost nothing.

We plan to introduce optional paid plans (such as boosted job listings) later. Before any paid feature is available we will publish its price, what it includes and our refund policy, and we will update these terms. You will never be charged without clearly agreeing first.

Payments for work between customers and artisans are arranged directly between them. LocalJobsGh does not handle those payments.

We work hard to keep LocalJobsGh safe, including verifying artisans and reviewing reported listings. But we cannot check every listing, every employer or the quality of every job, and we do not guarantee that you will find work or that any work will be done to your satisfaction.

To the extent the law allows, Bestian Company Ltd is not liable for losses arising from dealings between users, or from content that users post. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ghanaian law that cannot be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together will be settled by the courts of Ghana.
